THE KANY ROADSTER

Some cars get names like the Purple People Eater, the Orange Crate, or the Green Monster. Others get their place in history noted by the names of their owners, such as the Isky T, the Edelbrock Roadster, the Kelly Coupe, and so forth. This distinctive green ’29 Ford roadster falls into the latter category. Since Mike Kany is the owner, it’s become known simply as “The Kany Roadster.”

We love a good old car yarn, and any one that begins with an opening line such as “we found the body hanging from the rafters of a corn crib with bailing wire” sure perks our ears right up. Thoughtful planning and a detailed execution never hurt anything either, and The Kany Roadster has it in spades.
