Unlike new cars, hot rods are built with soul. They’re not built on an assembly line by giant robots, but by an individual that bled for their car. That’s what Jerry Koenigsmark of Lakewood, Ohio did with his ’32 Ford five window. There wasn’t a bolt or wire that Jerry didn’t touch with his own two hands.
Jerry bought his coupe back in ’74 or ’75 from a woman whose husband was in prison and she just wanted it gone. Yikes! So Jerry picked it up for the ridiculous sum of $175. Yes, $175. Anyone want to build a time machine?
