a fine example

I’ll start off by saying that Bill Wishart is one heck of a nice guy. A soft spoken kind of guy with an eye for balance and harmony when it comes to vintage tin and old hot rods. By day he’s an “Automotive Technology Instructor” at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, California. That means he’s a high school auto shop teacher. You can only imagine that his class is probably one of the coolest around. Last year they chopped a Ford shoebox for a classmate, and the lessons often dwell in the realm of rods and customs. His coupe featured here is a fine example of how hot rods can be built with scavenged parts, put together with style, and made to flat haul class.

By night, and on the weekends, Billy is president of the Road Zombies car club in the Bay Area. Who better to teach shop class than the president of a kick-ass car club?
