BRENT'S '27

Occasionally parts that you discard from one project find their way back to you with another. Such is the case with Brent Nightingale’s 1927 Ford Roadster. Brent pulled the tired Nailhead out of his ‘53 Buick and replaced it with a modern drive train. Rebuilding the old mill would have busted Brent’s budget, but a buddy had some cash to freshen it up and drop it into a roadster he was building. After rebuilding the motor and getting the roadster about 80% done, the project lost steam and the whole thing, rebuilt Nailhead and all, was offered to Brent. Well, getting a nearly completed car for about the price of a Nailhead rebuild was too good a deal to pass up, so the Buick mill found its way back to Brent sitting in a nearly complete 1927 Roadster.
