Duncan Pittaway's GN Curtiss
The influence of traditional rods and customs can be seen the world over. Pretty much anywhere on the planet that there's a modified car scene you can spot the tricks and styling cues from this scene. There's a thriving traditional rod and kustom scene happening in England right now and the influence can be felt anywhere people are building, modifying or racing cars.
The first time I saw Duncan Pittaway's car, it stopped me dead in my tracks. It wasn't its totally cool chequered paint, it wasn't its stripped to the bone style, it wasn't its low down and dirty dropped front end. It was that engine: instantly recognizable as a V8, and a big one at that, but after that I was lost and had to find out more.
