There is nothing better than homegrown, just ask Bruce Cox. He is a farmer by trade and knows quality homegrown produce. His 55 Chevy gasser sprung up like a weed in a wrecking yard on the aptly named Weedpatch Highway in Kern County, CA. Once he spotted it there, he wouldn’t let the owner rest until he could bring it home. That took a couple of years and near daily visits, but persistence paid off and Bruce brought home the harvest, minus the car’s original drivetrain. That’s ok cuz if yer going homegrown, ya gotta roll yer own too, and that’s just what Bruce did.
