Hot Rod Double Feature -Hardie & Voss

One thing we try to do at Rod and Kulture is to fill each issue with the best traditional hot rods, custom cars and motorcycles available to our readers. For this feature we decided to give you a two-for-one. We were able to get Nick Hardie’s 3-window coupe and Don Voss’ ‘32 Roadster together at just the right location for some great pics to share with you, our readers.

Nick’s 3-window is an old original jalopy car that was raced back in the day by Joe Masaki and was 1948 Michigan State Champion. Masaki had a wrecking yard and auto parts store, and the car sat in the yard for a long time with numerous people trying to buy it. Through a turn of events, Nick ended up with the car many years ago…what was left of it anyway. When Nick got it, it was really rough having been exposed to the elements for so long. It was also essentially just a shell with no doors, rotten frame, and in need of some major work. Nick was up for the challenge though, and patched the body back together. He found some doors and some door pieces and made some doors that would work, and he found an original frame. Over several years he put the car together.
