Ya just gotta remember two basic things, there is no such thing as too low and if ya can't burn rubber, then don't show up. Alvin Garnica of San Jose, California apparently has committed himself to these timeless axioms of the rod and custom world.

In 1971 when Alvin bought this '58 Chevy Fleetside pickup for the measly sum of $350.00, he used it to shepherd his concrete finishing tools around San Jose . Apparently, his affection for the reliable old beater grew and he began to envision the vehicle as a personalized showpiece. His idea was to finally give his trusty old compadre a new life as a glamour girl instead of a working girl. She'd look a lot better with a facelift, a better body and some fresh makeup.
