Everyone likes to get their hands on some mean green. Rick Uyeda’s 1951 Ford Gasser changed hands many times as a project before he brought it home. The pink slip for this green car changed hands 3 times as many more hands took part in its build.
James Gilliam was the first owner to start on the project by working on the chassis and roll cage. He moved the rear end forward ten inches and set up the straight front axle 4 inches ahead of the stock location. But as often happens with projects, James ran out of stream and the Shoebox went up for sale.
