Being the guy that picks cars to shoot features for a magazine isn’t as easy as it may look. Being an East Coast guy that works for a West Coast based magazine is even tougher. Now, finding hot rods over on the “right’ coast has proven to be pretty easy. I happen to prefer the East Coast Hot Rod over just about any other style, although I like other styles, too.
Customs, on the other hand, are a rarity on this side. My taste runs towards the West Coast on customs because of their smooth, flowing style. To me, many East Coast customs (and Kustoms) are way over-done, with way too much junk attached to them. Sorry, but that’s just how I feel.
