Here's a car I followed from a bare body to a completed, running car. Something I don't usually get to see, but always glad when it happens.

first met Clark Bates in 2002 when I shot his roadster pick up for another magazine I worked for. Instantly, I liked what he had done to his RPU. This band of amazingly talented builders from the So-What Speed Shop pulled the car together on a low budget and high tolerance for fun. Both he and his friend Larry Garland have always managed to set unrealistic goals for themselves and have somehow reached them every time. Usually it's for a show deadline, such is the case with this coupe.
