Remember when you were a young tike and you got your first model car kit? You got all wet in the pants excited, but duh, it was a snap together kit which took all of five minutes to put together. Then what? Watch more TV? Finally you moved up to an actual glue-together kit.Now, your only glue experience at the time was with good old Elmers, which other than being a staple in a kindergartner’s diet, wasn’t all that remarkable.
First you had the magic of ripping open the box and marveling at the styrene dream. Hundreds of pieces that soon will resemble an actual hot rod. There’s the frame, body and engine in 1/24 scale (or 1/25, is there really a difference?) which will soon be held together by the magic elixir, modeling glue.
