The Story of Rob Harris

The story of Rob Harris's '31 sport coupe starts with his buddy Raymond. Raymond found the body discarded in a trash heap. The body had been cut in half and hauled to the trash by a tractor. It had also been hit pretty hard at one point and the left rear corner was pushed in about a foot. That didn't discourage Raymond, though. He could see the potential of the little sport coupe. Raymond then took the body over to “Chris the Welder” who stitched the body back together and straightened out the rear corner. Once Raymond got the body back home, Rob spotted it and struck up a deal. For $400.00 and an old Coke machine Rob had himself a sport coupe. When Rob came to pick up what he thought was a body and a frame, he was amazed to see that Raymond had assembled almost the entire car back to stock, and that it started and ran. Once Rob got it home the transformation from beat-up stocker to cool-ass hotrod began.
